Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design and development of embedded software for avionics display systems (e.g., PFD, MFD, Touchscreens Controls, Helmet Mounted Displays) applying Model-Based Design methodologies

  • Implement graphic of touchscreen display with a proper HMI with particular attention to Flight Test Operations pilot workload

  • SW lifecycle management in accordance to applicable standard (DO-178C, DO-331, ARP4754A)

  • Integrate Application SW on target systems

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (hardware, software, system engineering)

  • SW Requirement definition

Requirements

  • degree in Engineering technical field (e.g. Computer Science, Electronic, Electric, Telecommunication, Automation Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering)

  • Proven experience with Matlab Simulink and SW development (C/C++)

  • knowledge of Real Time Safety Critical Embedded SW development aspects

  • interest in Human Machine Interface (HMI) aspects

  • at least 2 years' experience as Avionic Subsystem/SW Engineer or similar role

  • coordinating and leading the development team

  • interfacing and managing suppliers for activities' offload and for the computer platform procurement
