Elements Sales Clerk

$18.45/hr

Are you passionate about food service? Are you a people person who gets energized by providing exceptional customer service? Do you pride yourself on being professional in all of your public interactions? Do you thrive working in a fast-paced team environment? If so, Science North, Northern Ontario’s most popular tourist attraction, is looking for you to join its sales team.

Elements is an on-site quick service restaurant at Science North, serving food and alcohol with indoor and outdoor seating with a combined capacity ranging from 25-100. The restaurant services visitors, walk-ins, the Science North workforce, function participants and school groups. Offerings include hot items from the grill, daily specials and quick grab and go snacks. Elements staff participate in food sales and preparation, replenish stock, heat and cook items for visitors, cross-sell, and efficiently process payments. Interested candidates must have excellent customer service skills to provide a high level of service to our visitors, enjoy working with the public and the ability to work independently and as a team.

Enjoy a variable hours schedule where you can use your excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills to wow our visitors! Science North provides services in both official languages with some positions requiring fluency in French. First Aid and Smart Serve Certifications required upon start.
