Novastar Prep is seeking engaging, patient, and energetic part-time tutors for an in-home elementary tutoring assignment in Vienna, VA This opportunity involves providing personalized 1:1 support to a bright and motivated 2nd grade student working on writing development, storytelling, and multiplication fluency through hands-on, visual, and interactive learning approaches.
We’re looking for tutors who can create a warm, encouraging environment while making learning fun and engaging for a younger student who may need time to come out of his shell. In-person opportunities are available in Vienna, Great Falls, McLean, Oakton, Reston, Falls Church, Herndon, and surrounding Northern Virginia areas.

Who We’re Looking For:
Educational Background: You must have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a relevant field.
Experience: 1 year+ in tutoring or teaching is essential.
Communication Skills: You should be a clear and effective communicator, able to connect with students of various learning styles.
Reliable Transportation: A dependable vehicle is necessary for travel to in-person sessions.
Tech Skills: Basic computer literacy is required, as some teaching tools may be digital.
Commitment: We seek candidates willing to commit to at least one semester.
Background Check: You must be able to pass a background check.
