Mt. Pleasant is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and student-centered educator to serve as a 1st grade teacher. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team of educators dedicated to fostering the academic, social, emotional, and developmental growth of our youngest learners. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment while planning and delivering developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with the New Jersey Student Learning Standards. The teacher will provide differentiated instruction that supports the students as they strengthen foundational literacy and mathematics skills, develop critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, and grow as confident independent learners. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and support staff to ensure the success of every student.
Qualifications/Requirements: *NJ certification - Teacher of Elementary K-6, or, Teacher of PK through Grade 3 *BA/BS from an accredited college/university *Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities *Ability to maintain a positive learning environment
Salary Range : $64,234.-$88,724.
