Are you passionate about making a difference in students’ lives? Novastar Prep is seeking a dedicated part-time, in-person Math Tutor to support a 3rd-grade student in Ashburn, VA.

Whether you're an experienced educator or someone with a strong academic background, this is your opportunity to work 1:1 with students in a supportive and personalized environment. We also offer remote tutoring opportunities, as well as in-person tutoring opportunities in Great Falls, Vienna, Oakton, Herndon, Falls Church, McLean, Reston, and surrounding areas.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Educational Background: You must have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Experience: 1 year+ in tutoring or teaching is essential.
• Communication Skills: You should be a clear and effective communicator, able to connect with students of various learning styles.
• Reliable Transportation: A dependable vehicle is necessary for travel to in-person sessions.
• Tech Skills: Basic computer literacy is required, as some teaching tools may be digital.
• Commitment: We seek candidates willing to commit to at least one semester.
• Background Check: You must be able to pass a background check.
