Lincoln Academy Charter School is seeking a dedicated Elementary Computer Specialist to join our team immediately. This role involves providing engaging computer instruction to elementary students, focusing on foundational computer skills and digital literacy. The Computer Specialist will work collaboratively with teachers to integrate technology into the curriculum and foster a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement, with assistance from Principal, age-appropriate lesson plans that teach fundamental computer skills and software applications.
- Instruct students on basic typing, internet safety, digital citizenship, and basic coding concepts.
- Assist teachers in integrating technology tools and resources into classroom activities.
- Maintain computer lab equipment and ensure a functional and organized learning environment.
- Provide technical support to students and staff as needed.
- Use Skillstruck software to provide instruction on basic computer science principles.

QualificationsRequirements:
- Passion for working with elementary-aged children and promoting digital literacy.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with educational software and applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with educators.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- Previous teaching experience or experience working with children is preferred but not required.
Schedule and

Compensation:
- Part-time position, approximately 18-20 hours per week.
- Monday through Friday (3 days a week) schedule during the academic year (August to May).
- Hourly

pay rate: $14.75-$17.00 per hour, based on experience and education.
