Job Location: Elementary Campus - Santa Monica, CA 90404
Position Type: Part Time
Salary Range: $27,000.00 - $62,500.00 SalaryWorking with ES Elementary School Art Specialist Teacher to teach all classes K-5. The position is hands-on, helping to teach and supervise all classes. There will be opportunities for developing curriculum and eventually supervised teaching.

Essential Job Functions:
- Support the classroom teacher with instruction and supervision of the students
- Have a strong desire to work with K-5th grade students, enjoy working with students
- Visual art background preferred
- Set up and cleanup of student projects and materials on a daily basis
- Maintain and organize art classrooms space and supplies on a daily basis
- Help to design and hang art displays throughout the school
- Work with classroom teacher to write and post student progress reports (SPRs)
- Maintain class web page

Education/Experience needed for this position include:
- 4 year college degree
- Strong computer skills (Knowledge of programs such as: Zoom, Google Drive, Outlook)
- Experience with a Mac Book
- Prior experience working directly with children grades K-5 in a school, camp, or daycare setting
- Knowledge of Crossroads philosophy and the ES approach to learning is preferred
- Art background preferred
Physical Demands:
- Ability to sit for longer periods of time
- Ability to stand for longer periods of time
- Ability to walk around campus and climb stairs and ladders
- Ability to move and lift up 30 pounds
