Assignment: Permanent
SalaryStep 1: CAN46.74/hour - Step 2*: CAN49.68/hour (After the 90-day work probation period)

Your responsibilities

  • Maintain, inspect, adjust, and repair electronic instruments to ensure proper equipment operation.
  • Install, configure, test and commission new systems.
  • Perform testing and prepare reports as required.
  • Respond to breakdowns; troubleshoot and participate in the restoration of operations.
  • Provide technical expertise as required.
  • Participate in the execution of various projects and assignments.

Your profile

  • College diploma (DEC) in Electronics Engineering Technology
  • Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on technical experience in industrial electronics, including both field service and workshop environments
  • Eligibility for certification with the Professional Order of Technologists of Québec (OPTQ)
  • Proficiency in applicable computer applications, tools, and related office software (Microsoft Office, SAP, etc.)
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in French
  • Valid Class G (ON) or Class 5 (QC) driver’s license and insurable driving record
  • Eligibility to obtain security clearance following a background check
  • Availability to undergo a medical test, functional abilities evaluation, and drug test
