The E-Waste Coordinator supports AVI-SPL's global Electronics Recycling Program by managing the end-to-end execution of electronics recycling and end-of-life technology projects. Reporting to the Sustainability Program Manager, this role serves as a key operational contact, coordinating recycling requests, vendor partnerships, logistics, secure data destruction, compliance documentation, and project closeout activities. The position works closely with internal teams, customers, and recycling partners to ensure efficient and compliant program delivery. The role supports multi-location technology refresh and recycling initiatives across North America, Latin America, EMEA, and APAC. Success in this position requires strong project coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects across regions and time zones.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The E-Waste Coordinator supports AVI-SPL's global Electronics Recycling Program by managing the end-to-end execution of electronics recycling and end-of-life technology projects. Reporting to the Sustainability Program Manager, this role serves as a key operational contact, coordinating recycling requests, vendor partnerships, logistics, secure data destruction, compliance documentation, and project closeout activities. The position works closely with internal teams, customers, and recycling partners to ensure efficient and compliant program delivery. The role supports multi-location technology refresh and recycling initiatives across North America, Latin America, EMEA, and APAC. Success in this position requires strong project coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects across regions and time zones.

Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

• Coordinate day-to-day electronics recycling and end-of-life asset requests from intake through project completion.
• Review incoming requests and gather required project information, including equipment quantities, locations, site requirements, timelines, photos, weights, dimensions, and data destruction needs.
• Request, track, and compare quotes from approved electronics recycling and ITAD partners.
• Coordinate recycling pickups, transportation, site access, scheduling, and other logistics with customers, internal teams, and recycling partners.
• Support multi-site and global electronics recycling projects across North America, LATAM, EMEA, and APAC.
• Coordinate requirements for secure data destruction when applicable.
• Perform additional tasks, responsibilities, and projects as needed to support the team and organization, ensuring flexibility in adapting to evolving priorities and objectives.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Must-Haves:

• 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, logistics, supply chain, sustainability, recycling, general operations, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of a High school Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple active requests simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience coordinating with vendors, customers, or cross-functional internal teams.
• Ability to identify missing information, resolve logistical issues, and proactively follow up to keep projects moving.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly with quotes, schedules, addresses, equipment inventories, invoices, and project documentation.
• Works independently in a fully remote environment while collaborating closely with global cross-functional teams across multiple regions and time zones.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and other Microsoft 365 applications.
• Fluent English required.
• Minimal travel anticipated. Occasional travel may be required to AVI-SPL facilities, customer locations, recycling partner facilities, or program-related meetings and events.

Nice-To-Haves:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, operations, or a related field.
• Experience with electronics recycling, ITAD, reverse logistics, data destruction, environmental compliance, or waste management is a plus.
• Experience supporting international projects or working across multiple time zones is a plus.
• Proficiency in Spanish and/or German is preferred
