What you would do as our Electronics Engineer

As an Electronics Engineer, reporting to the Electronics Team Leader, you will develop innovative electronic products for the Traka and KEYper Systems brands, supporting projects from concept through to production. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to hardware design, PCB development, embedded firmware and product innovation across a range of electronic technologies.

You would also be responsable for:

• Participate in the development and implementation of new electronic products from requirements stage through handover to manufacturing.
• Participate in the development and implementation of embedded firmware written in C.
• Contribute towards product innovation with new ideas and research.
• Understand, develop, maintain and support existing product firmware and hardware, and build and test prototypes.
• Provide support and documentation for hardware developments such as schematics, BOMs and test procedures.

The skills and experience you need

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline, with at least 3 years of experience in electronics and embedded systems development.
• Has a strong electronic design experience across microcontrollers, analogue and digital circuits, power supplies and component selection.
• Has a proven expertise in the complete PCB design process, including schematic design, layout, library management and manufacturing documentation.
• Has a hands-on experience with embedded C development, debugging and common communication interfaces such as SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, Ethernet or RS485.
• Has a excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, combined with practical experience using electronic test equipment and building prototypes.
