Job Description

About Tritium

Tritium is a global leader in DC fast charging technology for electric vehicles. We're on a mission to accelerate the world's transition to electric transport — and we need talented engineers to help us get there.

The Role

We're looking for a hands-on Electronics Engineer to join our Product Development team in Brisbane. Reporting to the Director of Electronics, you'll take hardware from concept through to production — designing, validating, and supporting electronic systems that power the future of EV charging.

What You'll Do

  • Design and develop electronic hardware including schematics, PCB layout, and component selection
  • Perform design reviews, DFMEA, verification testing, and technical documentation
  • Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and systems teams on hardware integration
  • Prototype, test, characterise, and debug boards and assemblies
  • Drive DFM/DFT considerations and support manufacturing handover
  • Manage BOMs, component availability, and supplier communications
  • Prepare test plans, qualification reports, and compliance artifacts
  • Support production issue resolution and field activities as required

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
  • 5+ years' hands-on experience in electronics hardware design and product development
  • Proficiency in PCB design tools such as Altium or LTSpice
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work across cross-functional teams
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

Why Tritium?

  • Work on technology that’s genuinely shaping the future of transport, not just talking about it.
  • See your impact in the real world, with our chargers deployed globally.
  • Free on-site DC fast charging for your EV.
  • Novated leasing and meaningful employee savings benefits.
  • Flexible access to your earned wages.
  • Global career pathways in a high-performance engineering environment.
  • Half-day each month to spend however you choose — no agenda, no deliverables, just time that's yours.
