Main Role & Responsibilities:Technology transfer to localise manufacture of power supply unit in SingaporeUnderstand requirement to localise manufacture of in-house product based on original designcriteria and procedureProposed new or modified solution and quotes to sales/customer requirementsElectrical circuit design and schematic capturePIC programmingBill of materials (BOM) and test plan creationBreadboard and prototype samples making and debuggingDesign new solution/product within companys standard design practice, safety guidelines,agreed timescales and costsPerformed product verification and validation to ensure product meet specification beforedelivered to customerDocument machine build process and continuously improve quality and cost.
Key Qualifications and Skills:Minimum Bachelors Degree in Electrical / Electronic or higher degree in a related engineering fieldMore than 5 years electrical design experience of power supplyGood project management skillHands-on approach as pioneer engineer within team before hiring/training technicians to takeover build processFamiliarity with schematic capture and PCB design using software be an added advantageRequires good communication, reasoning, problem solving and analytical skillsIndependent, Self-starter, hardworking, accountable and a good team play
