
Controls Technician
We are seeking a skilled Controls Technician to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of control systems that ensure the efficient operation of our facilities and equipment. Key Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, and maintain control systems, including PLCs, DCS, and SCADA systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with control equipment and software to minimize downtime.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on control systems.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to optimize control processes.
- Document system configurations, modifications, and maintenance activities accurately.
- Assist in the commissioning and start-up of new control systems and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all activities.
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
-Ability to work Monday through Friday 7:00pm-3:30am
- Proven experience as a Controls Technician or similar role in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming, HMI systems, and industrial control hardware.
- Familiarity with electrical wiring, schematics, and control panel assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Relevant technical certifications or degrees in Electrical, Automation, or related fields are preferred.
