To work under the supervision of the Rig Maintenance Supervisor: The Electronic Technician (ET) is the designated electronics specialist responsible for the maintenance, repair, operation and material control of all electronic equipment on board the rig. The ET is responsible for ensuring all electronic equipment remains functional throughout operations so as to minimize downtime and all electronic/electrical systems are within safety and regulatory body compliance standards and will advise the Rig Maintenance Supervisor on all electronic maintenance and repair requirements and operational status of electronic systems as required.
