Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electronic Technician I to support the repair, modification, testing, and maintenance of complex electronic systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in electronics troubleshooting, repair, and testing, with the ability to work independently and contribute in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and disassemble electronic subassemblies.
• Wire circuits, replace components, and repair electronic assemblies.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on electronic test equipment and test stations.
• Conduct testing using various electronic instruments, including:
• Oscilloscopes
• Digital Multimeters (DMM)
• Spectrum Analyzers
• Network Analyzers
• Signal Generators
• Curve Tracers
• Troubleshoot electronic systems down to the component level and determine corrective actions.
• Perform routine engineering and experimental testing activities.
• Conduct calibration checks on electronic instruments.
• Apply practical electronic theory and utilize standard hand tools and test equipment.
• Follow technical documentation, schematics, work instructions, and test procedures.
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Electronics or a related field with at least 3 years of relevant electronics experience; OR
• High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant electronics experience.
• Active Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance.
• Experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work a second-shift schedule.
• Familiarity with oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and related electronic test equipment.
• Ability to identify electronic components and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Ability to follow technical processes and documentation accurately.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) in a laboratory environment.
• Experience testing and troubleshooting RF assemblies and subassemblies.
• Experience testing and tuning microwave assemblies.
• Experience supporting Electronic Warfare (EW) systems.
• Soldering experience and familiarity with electronic assembly repair techniques.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Warner Robins, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
