
Electronic Health Records (EHR) Applications Specialist
$27.47-$30.22 per hour

The Role
Samaritan Daytop Village is seeking a service-oriented Electronic Health Records (EHS) Applications Specialist to provide frontline support for staff and systems across multiple platforms. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, leading system trainings, supporting project rollouts, and collaborating with both internal teams and external vendors. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality support in a dynamic and diverse work environment.
What You Will Do
Provide technical support and training to staff on platforms including myAvatar, NextGen, Tableau, Relias, and Integrify
Develop user guides and troubleshooting documentation, and create and lead presentations to aid in adoption of processes and procedures
Lead project planning and implementation efforts, including go-live preparation, bug identification and identifying fixes
Support multiple sites by developing custom forms and delivering tailored IT software solutions to meet operational needs
Collaborate with vendors to support system-related bids, procurement processes, and inventory management.
Who You Will Be
Experience providing IT help desk support with a strong focus on customer service
Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems (preferred)
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present information clearly in person and virtually
Proven ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities
Works well independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Skilled at building positive working relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including internal staff and external vendors
Maintains confidentiality and handles sensitive information appropriately
Self-motivated, adaptable, and proactive
Willing to participate in on-call rotation and travel regularly to sites throughout the 5 boroughs
