This sub family is responsible for providing on-site consultation oversight and integration support of existing hardware, software, network configurations and new system initiatives for all sites within area of responsibility. Advises on technical requirements for products and services, support equipment and electronic equipment installations. Provides guidance for the handling, installation and utilization of various systems and equipment. Duties also may include assisting in development and ensuring adherence to area-wide procedural/policy changes. IMPACT: Works to achieve day-to-day objectives with moderate impact on the area/ project team. Works independently on larger, moderately complex projects/assignments. May assist other technical staff with tasks and assignments. COMPLEXITY: Addresses somewhat complex technical issues/problems using best internal practice and through collaboration with colleagues. Develops solutions to technical problems that require depth of technical knowledge but are typically limited in complexity. COMMUNICATION: Communicates with colleagues across multiple areas (project managers, other technical resources, etc.). Explain technical solutions, practices and procedures to others within the organization. LEADERSHIP & TALENT MANAGEMENT: KNOWLEDGE: Requires working knowledge of and ability to apply standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques of technical domain. TYPICAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires BS degree and 2 – 4 years of prior relevant experience or master’s with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Leidos currently has an opening in our Huntsville, Alabama office supporting the Production and System Support Line of Business in the role of Electronics Field Engineer.
Primary Responsibilities
In this position, you will be responsible for integration and testing of Automated Test Equipment (ATE), maintenance of test equipment in our Huntsville facility, and providing maintenance support to test stations fielded at customer locations. You will install, integrate, and test equipment upon delivery at customer locations, develop training material tailored to individual customers and conduct training at our Huntsville facility and customer locations.

Pay Range $59,150.00 - $106,925.00
