Electronic Design Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and self-driven Electronic Design Engineer to join our R&D team and help develop the electronic hardware behind our fire and gas detection systems.

In this role, you will take ownership of hardware development throughout the full product lifecycle — from concept and design to testing, certification, and production. You thrive in an engineering environment where reliability, performance, and safety are critical, and you enjoy solving complex technical challenges with a hands-on and proactive approach.

You are comfortable working independently, making technical decisions, and balancing requirements such as performance, safety, manufacturability, and compliance. You take pride in delivering robust, high-quality hardware designs ready for production.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and develop analog and digital hardware for safety-critical systems

  • Drive hardware development end-to-end: requirements → design → verification → certification → production

  • Design with focus on EMC, robustness, reliability, and long product lifetime

  • Develop hardware under Ex / ATEX / IECEx constraints

  • Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, including marine and hazardous environment requirements

  • Work closely with certification, safety, and compliance requirements throughout development

  • Deliver high-quality designs and documentation that meet certification and production standards from the start

What You Bring

  • Extensive experience in analog and/or digital electronic hardware design

  • A proactive and self-driven mindset with strong ownership mentality

  • High attention to detail and a structured, quality-focused way of working

  • Strong problem-solving skills within real-world engineering constraints

  • Experience developing products under Ex / ATEX / IECEx requirements

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams

Tools & Environment

  • PCB Design: Altium Designer

  • PLM/PDM: ARAS

  • Focus areas: EMC, verification/testing, certification, and compliance

Why Join Us?

  • Develop technology where reliability truly matters

  • Work on safety-critical systems used globally across demanding industries

  • Be part of a company with strong engineering expertise and ownership culture

  • Join an ambitious international growth journey within Safety Tech

  • Contribute to solutions that help protect lives and critical infrastructure worldwide
