Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Electrical Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will maintain, service, and troubleshoot existing equipment on site property: making adjustments and/or mechanical/electrical repairs as needed in a safe, efficient manner. You Will

  • Program various PLCs, HMI’s, Vision Systems & networking.
  • Document PLC programs using RS Logix 5, 500 & 5000 software.
  • Diagnose and repair both mechanical and electrical equipment using various troubleshooting techniques and make necessary adjustments.
  • Perform electrical preventive maintenance, including component replacement, visual inspection, panel cleaning, panel wiring, wire tracing & panel documenting.
  • Design & install safety control upgrades to increase protection, with a focus on meeting or exceeding industry requirements.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment performance and reliability.

You Have

  • Associate's Degree (A.A. or A.S.) preferred.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of electrical or mechanical experience.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and control systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot de-energized/live circuits, PLC, HMI, VFD, Controls, Motors, and Sensors.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of wiring and designing of circuits
  • Experience reading schematics/blueprints.
  • Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.

You Will Earn

  • $35.00 and up, based on experience.
  • California and Federal overtime rules apply.
