Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical - Mechanical Technician to join our Plant Services Team!

Electro-Mechanical Technician (Plant Services) is responsible for the electrical and mechanical maintenance (corrective and preventative) of all production equipment and utilities for the Cincinnati plant site. Complete assigned tasks and self-identified tasks to ensure efficient operations of manufacturing plant and facilities. Maintain effective communication with customers. Ensure the correct and most effective plan is offered to customer requests.

3rd shift (10:00pm - 6:00am.)

What you will do:

  • Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance (preventative and corrective) on all production equipment as required or directed. Update internal customers, coworkers and supervision on progress and status of work being completed. Maintain clean and safe work area.
  • Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance (preventative and corrective) on all facilities (water supply, HVAC, structures, sewage, etc.) as required or directed. Update internal customers, coworkers and supervision on progress and status of work being completed. Maintain clean and safe work area.
  • Complete all service requests from internal customers in a professional manner.
  • Follow all Kao USA Inc safety and health regulations. Maintain a safe and orderly work area. Complete minimum requirements of attending monthly safety meetings and completing required safety items.
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedure and Work Instructions defined within scope of responsibilities. Complete training on all procedures and instructions as required.
  • Complete all documentation correctly and as scheduled.

What you will need:

  • Technical Electrical and Mechanical training, certification or education
  • Technically competent in electrical, mechanical and environmental competencies (1+ years)
  • Production facility and equipment maintenance environment (3+ years)
  • Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) license preferred
  • Entry level Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) knowledge
  • Small equipment operation (scissor lifts, articulating lifts, power trucks, etc.)
  • Be able to Read and interpret blue prints and schematics for electrical, mechanical and construction applications
  • Provide basic hand tools used in position
