Job Description

The primary responsibility of the EMF Medical Physicist / Engineer is to prepare Technical Evaluation Studies (TES) and Electromagnetic Background Studies (EBS) for Mobile Telecommunications Base Stations.

The role also includes contributing to the EMF compliance and safety of Vodafone & NOVA Access Networks through:

· EMF feasibility analysis for new Base Stations and network upgrades,

· execution and assessment of EMF field measurements,

· and support of EMF-related licensing activities.

In cooperation with the Victus Licensing Team, the EMF Medical Physicist / Engineer will manage all relevant aspects of the network licensing process with Hellenic Telecommunications and Post Commission and Greek Atomic Energy Commission (EEAE) through the SHLYA platform, including reporting activities. Furthermore, the role includes supporting the company and telecom operators in legal and communication matters related to EMF safety, including technical support for court cases and public communication activities.

Responsibilities:

Preparation of Electromagnetic Exposure Assessment Studies (TES / EBS) for telecommunications Base Stations

· Conducting and evaluating EMF field measurements

· Support and management of Radio & Transmission Network licensing procedures (EEAE / EETT)

· Internal EMF safety consultancy

· EMF assessment and consultation for radio network designs (new sites, site sharing, LTE upgrades, etc.)

· Support in EMF communication activities and stakeholder engagement

· Site visits and field activities as required

Requirements

Qualifications & core competencies Essential

  • BSc in Physics and/or MSc in Medical Physics with professional authorization in the field of Non-Ionizing Radiation, or MSc/BSc in Electrical Engineering
  • Proven experience in EMF studies and high-frequency EMF measurements
  • Knowledge of Access/SQL database development, Visual Basic, and Python
  • Familiarity with the EETT licensing system (SHLYA)
  • Fluent in both Greek and English
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good planning, scheduling, and technical report writing skills
  • Detailed knowledge and experience of EEAE Technical Standards and ISO 17025 requirements related to EMF measurements
  • Good understanding of the regulatory and legal framework related to EMF compliance
  • Valid driver’s license
