
You will be an ElectroMechanical Engineering and Technology Manager at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) for Future Interceptors, joining a network of engineering professionals implementing cutting-edge technologies on both existing and new development platforms. Our team is responsible for designing, developing, and manufacturing advanced products for military customers, including the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, NASA, and dozens of foreign allies.
What You Will Be Doing
As an ElectroMechanical Engineering and Technology Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of engineers, while also supporting program development and execution. Your responsibilities will include:
• Provide technical coaching and mentoring to employees
• Coordinate employee recruitment, selection, and training
• Conduct performance assessments, salary planning, and recognition/disciplinary actions
• Support program development and execution of program requirements
• Promote customer focus and serve as the technical conscience for the program
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related STEM field from an accredited university; Master’s degree or PhD preferred
OR Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Electromechanical Engineering or related discipline without a degree
• Proposal development experience; Basis of Estimate (BOE) development
• Proficient in CREO modeling, Windchill and electromechanical system design
• Experience with military defense hardware
• Proficient with CCA/PWB, cable/harness design and development, and electronic packaging design
• Technical or project leadership experience supporting the production of high-reliability electronics products
• Engineering management or Engineering team lead experience including task planning, budget management, subcontract management and/or employee development and mentoring
• Ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical systems/programs
• Must be US citizen and must be able to obtain a secret clearance
• Material Review Board (MRB) disposition experience
• CREO experienced for CCA/PWB and Harness/Cable design development and for production
• Experience with development to production of hardware
• Demonstrated leadership skills and behaviors that align with Full Spectrum Leadership Imperatives
• Preparation for and participation in major program design reviews (PDR, CDR)
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
• Proven understanding of electronics standards and processes
• Proven understanding of mechanical standards and processes
• Proven understanding of electronic packaging principles
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
• Experience with Zuken E3
• Experience with parts and materials selections
• Ability to perform design trade studies evaluating cost, weight, packaging, and power benefits
• Flex circuit and microelectronics design experience
• Active DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00
