Electricians Mate - Solar PV Installations

Location: Harwell

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per year

Employment Type: Full-time

Valoris Group is representing a well-established company specialising in Solar PV Installations across Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Wiltshire, Buckinghamshire, and surrounding areas. We are seeking a dedicated Electricians Mate to join the team and assist in the installation of solar panels and batteries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead electrician with solar panel and battery installations
• Perform cable routing and running
• Mount and connect solar inverters and batteries
• Make electrical connections as required
• Work closely with the installation team on day-to-day operations
• Conduct pre-installation work prior to full solar installations
• Maintain a tidy workspace and respect customer properties

Qualifications:

• Essential: Background in electrical work
• Preferred: Experience with solar PV installations
• Proficiency with power and hand tools
• Must hold a valid driving licence
• Willingness to travel
