We have an opportunity for a qualified Electrician – Streetlights to join our Wiri, Auckland-based team delivering essential street lighting services.
This role involves a mix of reactive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance, and project work across a diverse range of street lighting assets.
Key responsibilities:
Deliver street lighting electrical works in line with project plans, targets, and safety requirements
Complete reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance activities
Undertake non ‑electrical civil or mechanical works as required
Operate plant and equipment safely, including completing and documenting all pre ‑start checks
Participate in on ‑call/callout rosters and respond professionally to faults and outages
Complete all required documentation, including Daily Job Records, COCs, and RAMM updates
You’ll be part of a close ‑knit crew, contributing to both electrical and civil aspects of the work while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer service across the network.

You will be safety‑focused, with strong technical expertise in streetlighting or distribution networks. Joining a stable crew with growth on the horizon, you will be a team player who’s ready to get stuck in to the job at hand.
You will bring:
New Zealand Registered Electrician (essential)
Strong problem-solving skills with a practical, hands-on approach
A motivated team player who takes pride in quality workmanship
Willingness to learn, develop new skills, and contribute ideas for improvement
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a crew environment
Leadership capability or the potential to step into leadership as you develop
