We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our maintenance team at our metal recycling site. This will be working our afternoon shift – 2pm – 10pm Monday to Friday,

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offers overtime, long-term job security, and a competitive remuneration package aligned to your skills and experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to plant and equipment breakdowns through efficient fault finding and electrical troubleshooting
  • Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on plant and equipment
  • Maintaining and repairing motors, control systems, conveyors and industrial electrical equipment
  • Assisting with equipment upgrades and continuous improvement projects
  • Maintaining inventory control of electrical spare parts
  • Completing all required safety documentation, including risk assessments and work permits
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures

To Be Successful in This Opportunity, You Will Have:

  • Electrical Trade Qualification and current NSW Electrical Licence
  • Current driver's licence and reliable transport
  • Experience working within heavy industrial environments
  • Strong fault finding and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience working with motors, conveyors and industrial plant equipment
  • Exposure to PLC and SCADA systems will be highly regarded
  • A strong commitment to safety and teamwork
  • Happy to work the afternoon shift of 2pm – 10pm
