Job Description

WOLFF Onsite | UK (Nationwide Travel Required)

WOLFF Onsite is a fast-growing business delivering innovative power and energy solutions across the UK. We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our expanding team, working with cutting-edge technologies including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), hybrid generators, and battery power units.

This role is ideal for a practical, hands-on electrician who takes pride in high-quality workmanship, values safety, and enjoys being part of a close-knit, supportive team.

Tasks

The Role

You’ll be involved in a mix of workshop and on-site work, including:

  • Installation, commissioning, maintenance, and fault-finding on:
  • Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
  • Hybrid generator and battery units
  • Carrying out electrical and minor mechanical work in the yard and on customer sites
  • Supporting testing, inspection, and commissioning activities
  • Diagnosing faults and delivering safe, efficient repairs
  • Completing job reports and documentation
  • Working in line with RAMS, site rules, and company procedures
  • Representing WOLFF Onsite professionally on sites across the UK
  • Supporting the wider team when required

Requirements

Essential:

  • Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering
  • Proven hands-on electrical experience
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel nationwide and work flexibly

Desirable (not essential):

  • Experience with generators, power generation, or BESS systems
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (training provided if needed)
  • Knowledge of hybrid power systems or battery storage
  • CSCS card (or willingness to obtain)
  • Mechanical experience or understanding
