Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment on our oil and gas drilling sites. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment on oil and gas drilling sites
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems, and develop solutions to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Conduct regular inspections and tests to identify potential issues and prevent equipment failures
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and tasks in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including maintenance logs and equipment inventory
- Keep up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in electrical systems and equipment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrician in the oil and gas industry
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and controls
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to electrical work
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
