ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Manufacture quality blow molding machinery, auxiliary equipment, and sub-assemblies using various tools and equipment while maintaining compliance with OSHA, MIOSHA, and Company safety standards.
2. Perform maintenance and repairs on building equipment, ensuring good quality and safe operation.
3. Assist in training employees and coordinate with supervisors on scheduling and project assignments.
4. Operate power equipment and material handling equipment (forklifts, cranes, etc.) as needed.
5. Collaborate with engineering and production personnel to resolve manufacturing problems and report any shortages of parts, tools, or materials.
6. Complete daily time accounting, payroll information, and other required documentation.
7. Perform all tasks with minimal supervisory assistance, demonstrating proficiency in using precision measuring equipment and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician Certification with 8+ years of related experience
• Proficiency in machine and sub-assembly wiring, startup, checkout, and troubleshooting
• Leadership experience and process knowledge preferred
• Ability to use personal hand tools, mainframe computer, and work with metric and standard inch systems
