Job Description

Install, build, troubleshoot and repair machinery containing electrical componentry. Provide support for the manufacturing of quality products through maintenance and installation of electrical components and equipment.
 
Essential Job Functions include, but not limited to, the following:
  • Install, build, troubleshoot and repair machinery including:

o PLC Controlled Machinery
o Robotic
o Welding
o Pneumatic
o Hydraulic
o Press Control
o General Manufacturing Mills and Presses
  •  Operate a variety of equipment including:

o Metering Devices
o Hand Tools
o Scissor Lift
o Programable Logic Control (PLC)
o Volt/Ohm Meter (VOM)
o Diagnostic Computers
o Conduit Benders
o Threading Equipment
o AMP Probe
o Megger
  • Work in a safe manner, providing constant attention and communication regarding safety concerns to leaders in order to limit unsafe practices throughout the facility.
  • Provide direction and coaching to less experienced team members, as well as mentor apprentices as requested.
  • Additional functions not specifically outlined in this position description as directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED).
  • Completion of a Formal Electrician Apprenticeship.
  • Minimum of two years of experience as an Industrial Electrician.
  • Michigan State Electrician's License.
