Job Title: Electrician Helper

Job Summary

Industrial Power Solutions, a Sundt Company, is seeking hardworking and dependable Electrician Helpers to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a long-term career in the electrical construction industry while working alongside experienced electricians on industrial, commercial, water/wastewater, manufacturing, and mission-critical projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist electricians with the installation of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Load, unload, organize, and transport tools, materials, and equipment throughout the jobsite.
  • Assist with conduit installation, wire pulls, cable tray installation, grounding systems, and equipment setup.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Operate basic hand tools and power tools under the direction of experienced electricians.
  • Assist with material handling, inventory, and staging of equipment.
  • Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and project safety requirements.
  • Support crews with daily construction activities while developing electrical trade skills.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with coworkers, supervisors, customers, and trade partners.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous construction experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn the electrical trade.
  • Ability to safely use basic hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong communication skills and positive attitude.

Physical Requirements

  • Work up to 10–12-hour shifts in varying temperatures and outdoor conditions.
  • Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb throughout the workday.
  • Climb ladders, scaffolding, and work from aerial lifts as required.
  • Work in confined spaces, uneven terrain, and active construction environments.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, high-visibility vest, and steel-toed boots.
