ELECTRICIAN

Keystone Powdered Metal Company, a Sumitomo Electric Group company, is looking for an experienced full-time Electrical PC&C who will be working in our Cherryville, NC location.This person will be reporting into the Maintenance Manager.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• To layout and modify control circuits and write and install programs.
• Work efficiently and safely toinstall, maintain, and/or remove electrical circuitry, ovens, and other plant equipment and systems, including programming and circuitry.
• To efficiently and safely do general electrical and programming maintenance (such as lighting, alarm systems, refrigeration, ventilation, motors, air conditioning, and other circuitry.
• Legibly record and maintain applicable product/process information. This includes print and design changes.
• Effectively utilize measuring equipment and information obtained from its use to ensure thecontinuation of control conditions.
• Provide active input to continuous process improvement.
• Effectively communicate job-related information to co-workers andsupervisors. And others with a need to know.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform work using trade knowledge within the National Electrical Code and that specific to Keystone Engineering Standards.
• Must have at least two years of post-high school electrical education or equivalent industrial experience.
• Read and understand blueprints of the most technical nature and be proficient in programming and circuitry design, including PLC installation, programming, troubleshooting, and circuit troubleshooting.
• Use the equipment needed on the job, such as power threader, conduit bender, soldiering, welding, cutting equipment and testing equips.
• Make decisions concerning technical standards as applied to the given operation.
• Must understand programmable controller logic and circuitry.

The base salary range for this position is $2600/hour to $36.00/hour.​

Compensation may vary depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, competencies and location. Base pay is one part of the total compensation and benefits package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
