
The Electrician has a thorough knowledge of electrical repair and installation, along with mechanical knowledge which he/she uses to service the hospital facility. The Electrician is responsible for installation, troubleshooting, routine repairs and scheduled preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment (high and low voltage), such as, but not limited to the following: normal electrical systems and equipment; emergency electrical systems and equipment including emergency generators; equipment repairs involving electrical motors and components; fire alarm/detection systems; security camera and other communication systems and equipment; building security, access and alarm systems.
