ECO Approach Ltd is a leading provider of property certification, compliance, and energy efficiency services, specialising in gas heating, electrical installations, servicing, repairs, and retrofit solutions. We service over 10,000 properties every month across the UK, working with homeowners, landlords, estate agents, housing associations, and energy companies.

As we continue to grow our Retrofit Division from our Preston office, we are expanding our electrical services team to support both private and publicly funded energy efficiency projects throughout the Northwest.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are currently seeking a qualified Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out boiler wire-ups, heating control installations, electrical testing, fault finding, and general minor electrical works across domestic properties.

Responsibilities

• Complete boiler wire-ups and electrical connections for heating system installations.
• Install and replace heating controls, programmers, thermostats, and smart heating systems.
• Carry out minor electrical works associated with heating and energy efficiency upgrades.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults and defects.
• Complete electrical testing and ensure compliance with current regulations.
• Conduct inspections and safety checks to ensure installations meet required standards.
• Accurately complete job reports, certification, and required documentation.
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintain excellent communication with customers, colleagues, and office staff.
• Deliver high standards of workmanship and customer service.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar electrical role.
• Level 3 Electrical Installation Qualification (or equivalent).
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
• Testing and Inspection qualification (2391, 2394/2395 or equivalent preferred) (Desirable)
• Experience with domestic heating control wiring and boiler installations.
• Ability to fault-find and work independently.
• Own van.
• Own tools.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Clean DBS check.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
