Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Install and repair electrical wiring, harnesses, components, and accessories on loader and grapple trucks.
• Fabricate and install wire harnesses from electrical schematics and drawings.
• Diagnose electrical faults using multimeters, scan tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Troubleshoot 12V and 24V electrical systems, sensors, switches, relays, lighting, and control circuits.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Perform electrical inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance.
• Verify repairs through proper testing and quality checks.
• Assist the Lead Electrician with diagnostics, troubleshooting, and field service support as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and follow company safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

Position Summary

The Automotive Electrician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems on loader and grapple trucks during the manufacturing process and in support of service operations. This position works closely with the Lead Electrician to ensure all electrical components, wiring harnesses, control systems, and accessories are installed and functioning according to company and OEM standards. This position offers opportunities to develop advanced diagnostic and electrical skills while supporting the production and service of industry-leading loader and grapple trucks.
