Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical components within automated systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation equipment and controls.
• Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals for automation systems.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to optimize system performance and reliability.
• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all electrical and automation work.
• Assist in commissioning and testing of automated equipment on site.
• Document work performed and report any faults or improvements to supervisors.

Requirements

• Completion of electrician training with specialization or experience in automation systems.
• Proven experience working with automated electrical equipment and controls.
• Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, circuits, and PLC-based automation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and wiring diagrams accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills related to electrical and automation issues.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with safety standards relevant to electrical and automation work.
• Willingness to adapt to new technologies and procedures in the automation field.
