PRIMARY PURPOSE:
To provide daily preventive and emergency maintenance services to all school facilities pertaining to heating, cooling, lighting, and cafeteria equipment, repair small electrical tools, repair of scoreboards and install new equipment in school facilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
Be a high school graduate or hold a GED Certificate or experience in the field of work
Must have Journeyman License and/or Master License preferred
Have an acceptable driving record to standards developed by the Department of Public Safety and theTexas Education Agency (10 point system).
Special knowledge/Skills:
Current Journeyman License and/or Master License preferred
Familiar with the National Electrical Code Book
Familiar with Local City and County Rules, Regulations, Ordinances, Permitting and Inspection processes
Ability to supervise
Minimum Experience:
Have 5 years experience in Commercial Electrical Industry
Salary: $19.41 Hourly Minimum
Calendar: 250 Work Calendar
