Your Contribution

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and controls on glass manufacturing and support equipment, including glass-working machines, mixers, grinders, burners, transport systems, and melting equipment.
• Install, route, bend, and terminate rigid and flexible conduit and wiring in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and company standards.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, technical drawings, and instructions to complete maintenance, repair, and installation projects.
• Perform electrical testing and troubleshooting activities, including voltage, current, resistance, and continuity checks to identify and resolve equipment issues.
• Support equipment upgrades, new machinery installations, facility improvements, and the safe movement and rigging of electrical equipment and motors.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records using paper-based systems, electronic tools, and SAP while ensuring work areas are returned to production-ready condition.
• Partner with mechanics, contractors, and production teams to improve equipment reliability, respond to emergency situations, and support a safe, efficient manufacturing environment.

Your Profile

• High school diploma or GED, plus a technical certificate and/or equivalent electrical training, with at least 5 years of related industrial electrical experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of DC power systems, low-, medium-, and high-voltage AC power distribution, electrical controls, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical documents, safety procedures, operating instructions, and maintenance manuals.
• Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office applications, business systems, and electronic maintenance documentation tools.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications and qualifications, including material handling equipment operation, Lockout/Tagout qualification, and company quality and safety certifications.

This position is covered by a union collective bargaining agreement. Starting rate is $35.57 and includes 6 month progression increases up to 18 months.
