Job Description

Providence Staffing’s client in Mobile, AL is seeking experienced and dependable Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures. The ideal candidate will have hands-on electrical experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to safely operate electrical testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, alter, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Inspect wiring, electrical components, and equipment for proper operation.
• Use voltmeters, ammeters, and other specialized electrical testing equipment.
• Repair or replace wiring, switches, outlets, fixtures, and other electrical components.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Follow applicable electrical codes, safety procedures, and job-site requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform additional electrical and maintenance duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous electrical installation, maintenance, or repair experience required.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Experience using voltmeters, ammeters, and other electrical testing tools.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems.
• Ability to safely operate electrical hand and power tools.
• Ability to perform physical work, including standing, bending, climbing, and lifting.
• Dependable transportation and consistent attendance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.

Compensation

$21.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
