The Electrician position at the City of Tucson’s Parks and Recreation Department maintains electrical equipment and control systems for Park Department buildings and facilities. This position is responsible for performing reactive, preventative and scheduled maintenance, installations, and responding to system failures.
Work is performed under the supervision of the Electrical Supervisor. This position leads work, but does not supervise.
Working Conditions
The work schedule may require early mornings, late evenings, weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call shifts.
Often works under the following conditions: Indoor and outdoor work with exposure to physical, ergonomic, or hazardous environments, which includes but is not limited to dirt, grime, chemicals, loud noise, and unfavorable odors.
