Job Description

Location: Throckmorton, Worcestershire
Hours: Monday to Friday – 10 Hour Days
Duration: 4-Week Contract (Potential for Long-Term Work)
Overtime: Weekend Overtime Available
Start: Immediate

We are currently recruiting 8 experienced Industrial Electricians for an immediate start in Throckmorton, working on the electrical installation of modular build plant rooms for major commercial and data centre projects.

This is initially a 4-week contract, with the potential to be extended or lead to longer-term work for the right candidates as the project progresses.

Duties:

  • Installation of cable tray, basket, trunking and conduit.
  • Wiring and terminating power and control circuits.
  • Installing distribution boards, switchgear and control panels.
  • Glanding and terminating SWA and multicore cables.
  • Reading and working from electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Testing, fault finding and quality checking completed installations.
  • Electrical fit-out of prefabricated modular plant rooms.

Requirements:

  • Gold ECS/JIB Card preferred (valid ECS Card considered).
  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Previous industrial electrical installation experience.
  • Experience within modular builds, plant rooms or manufacturing environments is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
