Job Description

We are searching for a Power & HVAC Electrician to join our rapidly growing team in Burnaby, BC. You’ll use your skills to perform maintenance tasks as well as repairs on equipment in a safe and professional manner.

What you'll do:

• Maintenance of Power Distribution panels, transformers, cables, diesel generators and electrical distribution equipment.
• Maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of rental gensets, customer equipment and tools.
• Report machine condition to Management.
• Responsible for service documentation.
• Occasional travel to customer sites.
• Rotational on-call schedule.
• Demonstrate equipment for customers.
• Train lower-level technicians as needed.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts.
• Other duties assigned as needed.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience with repairing and maintaining diesel engines, electrical installs, troubleshooting, control logic or HVAC equipment.
• Intermediate to advanced diagnostic and repair skills for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, diesel, pneumatic and other systems.
• Strong mechanical and electrical background knowledge particularly with various engines.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and electrical equipment.
• Understanding of wiring schematics and diagrams.
• Own the tools applicable to position.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
