To support the Area In-Charge in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical equipment and field devices, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations with minimal downtime.
Assist the Area In-Charge in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing electrical equipment and field devices.
Perform complex electrical repairs on plant equipment and systems.
Carry out routine cleaning, adjustment, lubrication, and preventive maintenance of electrical components.
Troubleshoot and rectify electrical faults promptly to minimize plant downtime.
Inspect, test, and maintain MCC modules, control systems, and power distribution systems.
Diagnose and repair faults in control and power circuits.
Perform megger testing of motors and cables.
Inspect and maintain MV/LV motors, HT/MV/LV switchgear, power and distribution transformers, UPS systems, battery chargers, elevators, air compressors, OHC, ACBs, breakers, and contactors.
Support the operation, inspection, and basic maintenance of diesel generators.
Ensure safe and proper use of tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Adhere strictly to electrical safety standards, procedures, and plant regulations.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and job reports.
Assist in supervising electrical jobs when required.
Read, interpret, and follow MV/LV control and electrical drawings.
Strong knowledge of electrical operating principles and industrial electrical systems.
Proven ability to troubleshoot electrical faults efficiently under time constraints.
Hands-on experience with MCC panels, control circuits, and power distribution systems.
Sound understanding of electrical safety practices and procedures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
Education: 3-year Diploma in Electrical Power or equivalent
Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a cement plant or heavy industrial environment
Language: Good written and spoken English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
Contract: 4-6 Months
