We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Council's Repairs and Maintenance Team as an Electrician
Your role
You will be required to carry out a wide range of electrical tasks including rewiring and testing works, all to NICEIC (National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting) rules and IEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) electrical wiring regulations BS:7671 - 18th Edition (including amendments) and to required contract standard.
Part of this role, you will take part in our emergency out of hours team on a rota basis.
What you will need
You will have general building and domestic maintenance work experience and also previous experience in inspection, fault finding and testing domestic properties. The post holder will have competent knowledge of all relevant health and safety requirements, and the ability to highlight potential hazards.
