About the Opportunity:
This is a full-time position on a night shift roster where you will be responsible for a comprehensive range of electrical duties, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production processes. Reporting directly to the day shift Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our state-of-the-art equipment.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Executing preventative maintenance programs, including work orders and periodic inspections.
Responding promptly to machine breakdowns and performing necessary repairs.
Implementing and optimizing machine settings.
Identifying and recommending improvements for production processes.
Maintaining and calibrating process control instrumentation.
Ensuring strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and statutory regulations.
Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities.
Fostering excellent communication and supportive rapport within the team.
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a highly capable and proactive individual with a strong commitment to quality and safety. To thrive in this role, you will need:
A current Australian Electrical License.
Preferably 5+ years of experience in the food manufacturing industry or a similar fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated high level of technical ability and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in industrial control systems and equipment.
Experience with PLC programming and fault finding.
Knowledge of control loops and instrumentation.
Moderate computer skills (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, email, SAP).
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
A strong understanding of quality, safety, and environmental management systems.
Capability to train and coach operators in autonomous maintenance techniques.
Assist Production in setup and verification of production lines
