We are seeking an Electrician for our First Quality Tissue located in Lock Haven. This position will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and adjusting all electrical components within the Facilities department. Assists with mechanical repairs to the machinery or equipment as needed and responsible for maintaining a safety work environment.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Observes all safety rules and always use proper safety equipment
• Follows necessary GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations/guidelines
• Performs electrical troubleshooting utilizing a logical approach
• Troubleshoots machinery, equipment, and components using electrical schematics
• Supports preventative maintenance audits and inspections associated with facility power distribution system
• Determines and executes repairs, adjustments, and overhauls to facilities electrical components
• Assists with shoveling and snow removal
• Assists facilities maintenance with work orders
• Shows initiative and work with little, or no supervision at times
• Performs customer work requests as directed by manager / supervisor
• Completes work orders and daily tasked to highest quality
• Aligns and supports fellow departments
• Shares knowledge and techniques with team members and assist with training of new personnel
• Notifies Supervisor of potentially dangerous electrical hazards and take immediate corrective action
• Attends all required training provided by the company when applicable
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area
• Performs other duties as necessary when directed to do so
• First Quality team members must follow all First Quality environmental, health and safety requirements as well as applicable federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years industrial electrical experience.
• Vocational or technical school or prior industrial electrical experience preferred.
