Job Description


Job Summary
We are looking to hire an electrician experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair. Holds
a Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a strong understanding of industrial
electrical systems. Skilled in troubleshooting, wiring, and ensuring compliance with safety
standards. Has added advantage of experience working in a plastic manufacturing company,
with knowledge of production machinery and power systems
Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults on machines, panels, and wiring systems.

  • Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical equipment, motors, and control systems.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures during all electrical works.

  • Support production teams by minimizing downtime and ensuring reliable operation of machines.

  • Maintain proper records of electrical maintenance activities and spare part usage.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and safety.


Requirements


  • Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent.

  • 3–4 years of relevant work experience in electrical maintenance

  • Experience in a plastic manufacturing company will be an added advantage.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and troubleshooting techniques.

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Must be willing to work in shifts and respond to emergency breakdowns.

  • Technical expertise in electrical systems and control circuits.

  • Knowledge of PLC systems (basic understanding preferred).

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong communication and reporting skills.

  • Commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
