About the Opportunity:

Reporting directly to the Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our state-of-the-art equipment. This is a full-time position on a rotating shift roster where you will be responsible for a comprehensive range of electrical duties, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Executing preventative maintenance programs, including work orders and periodic inspections.
  • Responding promptly to machine breakdowns and performing necessary repairs.
  • Implementing and optimizing machine settings.
  • Identifying and recommending improvements for production processes.
  • Maintaining and calibrating process control instrumentation.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and statutory regulations.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities.
  • Fostering excellent communication and supportive rapport within the team.

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a highly capable and proactive individual with a strong commitment to quality and safety. To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum C10 Electrical Qualification and a current Australian Electrical Licence.
  • Preferably 5+ years of experience in the food manufacturing industry or a similar fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated high level of technical ability and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in industrial control systems and equipment.
  • Experience with PLC programming and fault finding.
  • Knowledge of control loops and instrumentation.
  • Moderate computer skills (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, email, SAP).
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • A strong understanding of quality, safety, and environmental management systems.
  • Capability to train and coach operators in autonomous maintenance techniques.
  • Dual trade qualifications (Electrical/Instrumentation) will be highly regarded.
