This role provides technical maintenance support to the Production Team in relation to Electrical & Automation systems. Effectively manage and maintain electrical and automation systems in order to ensure optimum manufacturing efficiencies are maintained with minimal equipment downtime.Feeling like a tree change? A day in the life…Reporting to the Electrical Team Leader, key responsibilities will include:· Provide a high level of service & technical fault finding to the plant, ensuring all systems meet production needs.·
Implement and enact preventative maintenance activities across the plant in the areas of Electrical and Automation, supporting the engineering objectives of the site.· Minimise plant unplanned stoppages by implementing solutions and improvements to ensure technical failures are not reoccurring.· Provide operational support for Electrical and Automation infrastructure to ensure reliability of plant and equipment. Support and maintain factory automation networks.· Assist in evaluating new technology to identify opportunities for its use in maximising factory performance· Assist where practical with the implementation of small to medium electrical and automation projects.·
Complete & submit Certificates of Electrical Safety as required by Energy Safe Victoria.· Comply with Nestle, Site and Government regulations, codes of practice, and accepted standards of safety· Arrange & complete, Permit to Works, JSA’s plus other Permits, for required work.· Ensure a safe working environment and that all work conducted complies with relevant regulations and codes of practiceWhat will make you successful· Joining a collaborative team, you will be self-motivated, proactive and have a proven capacity to work effectively within a team environment.·
Qualified Electrician (Victorian A Grade Licence).· Developed Computer literacy skills, including Microsoft Office, SAP, and DOS Based Applications· Experience in an electrical automation role within a manufacturing environment.· Advanced PLC fault diagnostics experience with Rockwell / Siemens PLCs (Rockwell Control Logix, Preferred).· Experience in the maintaining industrial IT networks.· Significant studies or training, demonstrating an ongoing commitment to professional development (Instrumentation, Type B Gas, etc).· Willingness to work in shifts.Applicants must have full Australian working rightsBenefitsYou will have the chance to work with an outstanding and highly engaged team, build and grow your career with an inclusive, global FMCG leader.
