Salary: €52,000 – €55,000 per year

Location: Bantry, Co. Cork Essential Requirements

• EU/UK citizenship or existing right to work in Ireland (mandatory)
• Qualified Electrician (QQI Level 6 or equivalent)
• Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience in domestic, commercial, and industrial electrical work
• Knowledge of KNX automation or willingness to upskill
• Full, clean driving licence

A well-established family-run electrical contracting firm in West Cork with over 45 years of experience. Works across domestic, commercial, industrial, and public sector projects, including smart home automation (KNX), known for quality workmanship, safety, and reliability.

As an Electrician, you will install, maintain, and test electrical systems across domestic, commercial, industrial, and public sector projects, including smart home automation. The role requires adherence to safety standards and high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and testing
• Work on KNX LUXORliving smart home systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults across domestic, commercial, and industrial systems
• Ensure compliance with Safe Electric and health & safety standards
• Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and clients on-site
• Complete accurate service documentation and reports
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician (QQI Level 6 or equivalent)
• Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience in domestic, commercial, and industrial electrical work
• KNX system experience or willingness to upskill
• Full, clean driving licence
