Job Description

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in East Suffolk to assist with the appointment of an Electrician, on a 6-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £18.35 - £23.40 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Carry out domestic electrical works including rewiring, testing & inspection
• Ensure full compliance with NICEIC rules and 18th Edition regulations
• Complete safe isolation procedures and leave properties safe and tidy
• Diagnose faults in 230v and 400v systems
• Complete all job sheets, certification & required paperwork

Qualifications:

• City & Guilds 236 Parts 1 & 2 (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition BS:7671 qualification
• GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in English & Mathematics

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience in domestic electrical maintenance
• Inspection, testing and fault-finding experience
• Competent completing NICEIC certification
• Confident working at heights and in confined spaces
• Good digital skills (smart devices, Outlook, tablets)
• Full UK driving licence
